Many thanks for Welcome letter. Really I shall be delighted to read the Baraboo Papers.

I am sorry that at present I have not a photo of myself on hand. But will forward one later. I should be very glad to hear from any of Baraboo Boys that knew me.

I except to be in France soon Fighting along side of some the American Boys.

Well this army life is great for it makes a man out of you. Again thanking you for your kindness and hope the paper will arrive safely.
