Art at the A.R.T

The Al. Ringling Theatre in Baraboo, WI, has been restored to its 1915 elegance. Known as "America's Prettiest Playhouse", this presentation looks at the inspiration for the architectural design and the artwork of the theatre, which ranged from Florence to France and includes the hand-painted reliefs and European-based design of the theatre. Circus Notables Cemetery Tour

There are more Ringling Brothers buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo, WI, than anywhere else in the U.S. This video highlights and tells the story of some of them and other circus related people. The stories are recounted by Sauk County Historical Society Executive Director, Paul Wolter, who researched and wrote the histories.

Lake Redstone 50th Anniversary

Plow Day 2015

This annual Plow Day event brings together tractors and plows of all makes and models ca. 1950s and older. Farmers, collectors and restorers come together to show off their antique hardware and spend a day plowing up a storm.
